Do you love playing with papers, stamping, stickers, markers, scissors, glue and more? Then you must be a paper crafting addict.

Guess what? 

You aren't alone. 
Paper crafting and embellishing has been an interest since childhood.  

Some of my fondest memories are a brand new box of crayons and new school paper at the beginning of every school year and then the joy of scavenging through my teachers trash can recovering all the goodies that were thrown away at the end of each school year.  

Oh how I hoarded paper and folders and used up pencils and crayons and any crafty stuff I could get my hands on.  I could spend hours just picking through it and dreaming of all the things that could be created.
Staring at an empty piece of paper wondering what I will fill it with.  My hands and mind were constantly busy.

I still do this now with my own children.  I believe I look forward to buying new school supplies for my kids more then my kids do. I want to buy new stuff for myself right along with them.  If I'm going to buy one new box of crayons and a composition book, why not buy two?

I love papers, inks, markers, colored pencils, paper, crayons, glue, paper, pencils, stamps, stickers and, oh yes, did I mention paper?

The ideas, combinations and materials are endless. 

This section of 'Momma's Pajamas' is part of my creative outlet to share with you the many different ideas I have (some accomplished, some only thought about) .

I enjoy hearing from you if you found them useful, or have suggestions of how to do it differently.

Fall is in the air and if you are like me with each change of the season you like to tweak decor in your home.  

I don't always accomplish my task but I still like to think I will and am always looking for new and fresh ideas. Read on to find out about this fun and easy project.
A quick way to give your room just a little tweak can be jazzing up your lampshades.

It doesn't have to be permanent.  The lampshades in my living room need a face lift and it is definitely on my 'to do' list.

I came across this little tutorial from 'Michaels' craft store and thought....that's just what I need.  

This project is simple, quick, easy and won't take a chunk out of your pocketbook. 

I know I can create something from supplies I have around the house and I bet you can too.

I will share more with you as I complete my task but until then here is a link to follow for this fun embellishment project should you decide to freshen up your lampshades as well.
